This web site is dedicated to intuitive animal paintings by Dmitry Guskov.

Although I also use traditional approach by using reference images to create my paintings, many of my images came from non-ordinary reality through dreams or shamanic journey.

A few times I have been asked to paint power animals for other people practicing Shamanism and I feel that such visualization is a helpful tool for them to build relationship with their guides.

Below are some examples of paintings - some animals may look like ordinary ones while others represent themselves as unseen creatures surrounded by surreal landscapes.

Spirit guides do not always come as power animals, very often they appear in human form. Sometimes they can represent themselves as plants, rocks, virtually almost everything...
